I'm Still Here!

Dear readers (who are so very few but so very loyal and wonderful),

I know that I've taken such a long hiatus that you all probably think I've given up on this thing. And under normal circumstances, you'd be right. The truth is, since one of these characters has permanently left my real life, I had to find a way to remove that person from the comics. Appropriately. I was avoiding it, and in the meantime, the few of you who had begun to look forward to zombies + hilarity were losing hope. For that I apologize.

Have no fear! Jess is still here! And I DO have an action plan, which has recently been solidified, thanks to my awesome brother, Adam; and also to Emilie, who told me that, "yes, it's okay to mention a shotgun."

I should have known, of course. Shotguns are rarely a bad idea in a hypothetical close-range zombie situation.

The next comic, appearing this weekend, will continue right where I left off, so refresh your memories by reading past comics, and keep an eye out on Blogger/Facebook!

Lots of love,
Jess

Almost done!

To keep all of you at bay, here's a little one-panel comic:

"Peace, silence! Brutus speaks."

Last week was CRAZY! I think my brain nearly exploded - good thing there weren't any zombies around, otherwise they might have sniffed me out! Hopefully I'll have yet another comic done for this Friday, but here's one to make up for the past couple weeks:

I'm late, I'm late for a very important date!

I know I haven't posted on time! I will probably post tomorrow, which will be the next time I am around a scanner...if I have time. I have two exams and two "performances" next week, so I will be super busy preparing for all of it!

Wish me luck!
Jess

Famous Last Words

Hello! It's Friday, and you know what that means: Comic 2 is ready for viewing! Hopefully everyone can see it; if not, you should be able to click on it to get to Picasa.

Never work as an intern under Dr. Q ("Q" for "Quack"). That's what the name tags say, by the way: "Intern." I know it's hard to see. One of these days I will think of a way to make these comics more visible and more easily accessible...

Enjoy your weekend!

Once upon a time, in a basement not so far away...

This blogspot is for a comic series which my boyfriend, Dave, has artfully named "Blonde of the Dead." I hope to post weekly, so enjoy! Comic #1 has already been made - just click to see the expanded version:

We begin our story in Amy's basement where two friends, Jess and Amy, plan for the zombie apocalypse.
